Unfortunately, there was nothing we could do after you refused to allow our corporate office to do a reinspection of your home which resulted in them taking action to cancel your home insurance. We tried to explain the need for it and that our corporate office required it to continue insurance and it was not something we could control. Despite your aggressive tone I repeatedly tried to address your concerns and hear you out. When you mentioned canceling, I want to clarify that I was only trying to offer sound advice. It is important to avoid any coverage lapses by having replacement coverage in place before canceling. I apologize if my response was not clear and gave the wrong impression, but I thought you were requesting that I cancel your insurance immediately which would not be advisable. I further tried to explain this when you repeatedly accused me of implying that you were an idiot because I advised not to cancel your coverage without a replacement policy in force. I was only trying to look out for your best interest. I was doing my best to listen and address your questions right up to the point you abruptly hung up on me midsentence. I also followed up after our call with my team member who confirmed she did in fact discuss our Drive Safe discount when she quoted your insurance which is standard practice when starting a quote with anyone in our office. Despite any misunderstandings, I genuinely wish you the best going forward. I hold no ill feelings towards you, and I am here to assist you with any further questions or concerns you may have. "
